This workshop focuses on the business verbs and nouns that are often used together in business conversations. In particular, participants will learn to understand when frequent words such as “plan”, “report”, “schedule”, “change” and others are used as verbs, and when they are used as nouns. The workshop follows a simple business story, including planning a meeting, dealing with a problem, rescheduling, and holding a final meeting with a business partner. Through short dialogs, gap-filling tasks, and conversation practice, participants will learn how to report problems and confirm plans in English. This one-day course consists of two sessions, each lasting 90 minutes. Participants will receive printed materials for self-study after the workshop.
